“Is this toilet flange broken? Preparing our upstairs full bathroom to be ready to lay flooring, I pulled the toilet out. When I did so, I noticed a plastic ring in the middle of the flange hole. I pulled on it thinking it was left over from the wax ring. It didn't just lift off, and then I realized it looks as though it may be part of the flange itself.
