“Who gets the accumulated preferred stock late dividend payments? The better preferred stocks are "cumulative". “Buy-and-hold investors: how do you track gains excluding DRIP? Any CSV/Python workaround? I’m a buy-and-hold investor in VTI. I invest about $1k–$2k monthly and have DRIP enabled. I’ve been doing this for ~3–4 years. Fidelity shows a gain (~$61k), but that includes reinvested dividends. What I want is the true gain based only on my manual contributions, excluding DRIP purchases. To my knowledge, Fidelity doesn't have an option for this.
